Our Promise to Parents and their Babies
The Johnson & Johnson Family of Consumer Companies is a leader in scientific research about baby care products, and has been for over 100 years. Safely caring for baby’s delicate skin and hair is at the core of our five-level safety assurance process. When you bring our baby care products into your home, you can be assured of our commitment to the safety of your family and families around the world. Here’s why.
Our Safety & Care Commitment to mothers and fathers starts when a baby is born. In fact, we pioneered much of the research that our industry relies on, based on a deep understanding of the special needs of both adult and baby skin. Did you know that a baby’s delicate skin loses moisture faster than adult skin, and as a result requires extra care to stay moisturized? Our deep and specialized knowledge informs the formulations and ingredients selected for our baby care products.
More than 50 years ago, we pioneered the basic technology behind our NO MORE TEARS® formula, which is as gentle as water on babies’ delicate eyes. In those decades, we’ve continued to improve our formulas. The NO MORE TEARS® formula was born out of our long-standing commitment to provide you with products that are not only safe, but also help you make the most of that precious time together with your baby.
As part of our commitment to parents and their babies, we talk to nurses, pediatricians, and other healthcare providers to gain their insights and opinions. Through community-based programs, we are also helping parents and their babies worldwide get a good start in life together.
